A Microsoft game, and yet it does not support Microsoft Windows 2000. Attempting to run it off the CD, it informs me that it can only be run on Windows XP. Not so easily defeated, I installed via the command prompt, et voila. The game runs fine on Windows 2000, so why would Microsoft allow so many of its own customers to be overlooked like this? I encountered one small bug, which prevents me from connecting to ES Online. Unfortunately, this is the only reason why I bought the game. My guess is, its one line of code which makes this incompatible with Win2k. So now I’m going to have to fork out for WinXP after all these years. Perhaps there is the answer to my original question.
