My grandmother’s name was Galvin, her parents came to the US in the 1800′s sometime. My grandmother had a twin sister and her mother was found dead with the two babies in the cradle. The father was a drunk and no one knows what happened to him. I have been told since i was a small child that my grandmother (Lillian Galvin-Jacob) and her twin sister (Mary Galvin) were left a castle and 200,000 (1940′s – 1950) by the time they found my grandmother it is said it was too late and everything was returned to Ireland. I would like to know more…could you tell me if there is a castle in the galvin line?
